Recipe for Homemade Tortilla Chips

Ingredients:
8 inch round corn tortillas
Cooking spray
Kosher salt

Optional: smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, Greek seasoning, blue cheese powder,  dry ranch dressing mix…

Method:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Cut tortillas into 8 wedges with a pizza cutter or knife.

Spray baking sheet with cooking spray.  Place wedges on sheet and spray tops with cooking spray.  Sprinkle kosher salt and optional seasonings (I used smoked paprika on these).  Bake  for 10 minutes or until browning, puffed and crispy.

Serve warm or room temp with your favorite dip, guacamole, or hummus.

Each tortilla makes 8 chips, 1 serving, approximately 90 calories, 1 gram fat, 14 grams carbs, 5 grams protein (compared to 1 serving (7 chips) national brand Restaurant Style at 140 calories, 7 grams fat, 19 grams carbs, 2 grams protein)
